Novels live
I had such a great time reading from my novel at Waterstones that I wanted to tell everyone about Novel London. It's a terrific organisation - set up to encourage debut novelists to give live readings. It is also filmed. The readings happen on the first Friday of the month at various venues. Three or four writers read the entire first chapter of their recent novels. The readings are also themed. This week - Friday 4th March at Waterstones, Covent Garden - features novels about mothers. The April event will be featuring fantasy novels and will be in the Clock Tower, King Cross. So, writers and readers of London - get yourselves down to Waterstones on Friday. Or at least get onto the Novel London mailing list.
