Uh oh! Fiona's on Twitter
Fiona Gregoyan from Rules for Thursday Lovers has taken it into her head to create her own Twitter account. She has rather a lot to say about hats, love and other poetry. After her new encounters with love, Fiona fancies herself as an agony aunt. Well, it's one way of stealing a march on her old rival, Angie. You can ask Fiona a question about love on Twitter @gregoyan. The best question wins a signed artist's card for Valentines Day. Deadline is 11 February 2016. Enjoy :) Di

Giveaways on Goodreads from tonight
From tonight you can apply to win Giveaways of Rules for Thursday Lovers on Goodreads. I'm really excited that people already seem to have discovered this and I'm looking forward to meeting new readers. About the book - it's fun, with quirky, lively characters leading a romp around a contemporary London you may or may not recognise. And I challenge anyone to remain stony-faced while reading the book. If you do - remain stony-faced that is - send me a photo of your stony face

The wild horizon after the first novel and while writing the second...
I am thrilled that so many readers of Rules for Thursday Lovers have enjoyed it and have left messages and reviews. (More reviews please! ) Which brings me to the news that I'm writing a second novel and that it is very different in tone to the first. It's thrilling and poetic rather than ha ha funny and features a new dilemma, new characters and a new heroine - just one, you'll be relieved to know. Which brings me to cite ten things that sustain writers (well - me) between

Free on the London Underground
I'm really pleased to announce that 50 copies of my newly imprinted Rules for Thursday Lovers will be left on the London Underground on this Friday - the 16th October by Books. It's all arranged by - booksontheunderground.tumblr.com who simply do it because they love books and want people to read them. It's a great idea and I'm thrilled to be involved. So, keep a look out and you never know - you might find a copy or you might see someone reading one. I'd love a photo. #gi

Launched and sold out
The launch at the Big Green Bookshop was amazing. I read a few pages. People listened. Much wine was drunk and the book sold out. Hopefully it was my reading rather than the wine that sold the books, but who can tell? Am hugely grateful to Tim Best, the owner of the bookshop for letting us all stay there so long.I spotted him weaving a path back home on his bike once the last person left. So, for those of you who missed out on signed copies, I will sign some more for the Big

Launch off
Am hugely excited that my book is lanching today. Amazon seems to have been releasing the odd book anyway but it is the day Kindle goes live. Am not quite sure whether to look out for a flash of lightning over the small island in the Boating pond at Alexander Palace or the petals of my rose bushes falling at once or even the pigeons on my studio window all taking off in formation. But today is the day. And you are all invited to my launch at 7 this evening at the Big Green Bo
